Recently, we have started looking at information report writing. We’ve been learning about Australian Pioneers and next week we will begin creating dioramas and reports on some of the events that shaped Australia into the country we know today.
Before we start writing this report, we had a go at creating some brand new mythical creatures. Some of us combined some existing ones together, and others made something entirely new. We needed to organise our information under appropriate sub headings, and include facts about our creature.

We have also started a new class novel called “Blabbermouth”. It is the story of a mute girl named Rowena, who is starting at a new school. She has some struggles fitting in, so we tried to put ourselves in her shoes and describe a scene from her point of view.
