The Easter Story in Year Five

During the season of Lent, we have been thinking about the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us. We have already written Lenten Promises and prayers, and displayed these across our classroom and in the front office.

We have now started to take a closer look at the Easter Story. We retold the story on our iPads, and will now use this as a plan to create a whole class Stop Motion video using lego! We are working in small groups to film individual parts of the story, and while this is happening, we have also been rehearsing for our upcoming STATIONS OF THE CROSS assembly. We’ve had to learn our lines and practise our scenes ready to begin filming next week.

Here are some sneak peak photos – and stay tuned for the finished products very soon!
