Early in Term 1 we planted some vegetables in our kindy garden and our Beetroot has ripened and is ready to harvest! With the magic of kitchen chemistry we turned them into Chocolate and Beetroot muffins! YUMMY! 
A big thank you goes to Mr Cogger for building our fabulous nature play space which opened this week. It’s a great place to load up the trucks with gravel and have loads of fun! 
We have begun our investigation into Bees, Pollination and Food Production and we found some bees buzzing around the lavender in our new garden! 
This was very timely as we are drawing bees to learn about their body parts and habits. Nothing like the real thing! 
Things were a-buzz at kindy with the opening of “The Honey Pot Cafe”. Many satisfied customers enjoyed delicious honey based treats from the menu.The staff were very attentive when taking orders and managed the till very well! 
We had a fun time dressing up for Book Week and sharing our favourite books with our Year Three Buddies. Thank you to all the great efforts by our families to help put together our fantastic costumes! 
We have also been busy bees with Secret Children’s Business as Father’s Day draws near. Stay tuned for surprises!!!
