Inter-School Swimming Results
The 2021 Inter-School swimming carnival was held on Tuesday 23rd March at Aqualife Aquatic centre.
The St.Emilie’s swim team had been in training since the beginning of the term, with excellent numbers attending training sessions at Riverton Leisureplex.
We would like to say a big ‘Thank You” to all the parents that were able to get their children to and from the training sessions throughout this term.
We understand how difficult this can be, especially so early in the morning.
The carnival itself was a huge success for St.Emilie’s.
Previously our best finish was 3rd position from 5 schools.
On Tuesday we finished in 2nd Position, from 6 schools.
The attitude, effort and the way our students cheer and support each other during Inter-School events is second to none.
While it was a huge team effort to finish in second position, we had a number of students receive individual medals for the day.
Nalo was runner up champion boy in year 4, Olaf was champion boy in year 5 and Nathanael was runner up champion boy in Year 6.
We would also like to thank all the parents that attended to support us on the day.

Basketball – Slam Series Review
Last Thursday the 15th October, 24 students were chosen to represent St Emilie’s in the School Sports WA Basketball Slam Series. The All Stars girls coached by Mr Stuart Munro, walked away as overall champions humbly winning every single game for the day! The All Stars will now play in the Championship Cup at Bendat Basketball Centre on November 25th (more information to come). The second girls team (coached by Miss Louise Corkhill) and boys team (coached by Liam – Azari’s cousin) also played exceptionally well gaining confidence and momentum with every game they played together.
Overall, the spirit and sportsmanship demonstrated by St Emilie was unrivalled. Our wonderful students played every game with a positive attitude and tried their absolute best. I would like to thank the coaches for their patience and guidance. I would also like to give a special mention to the parents who took the day to support St Emilie’s and assisted with scoring throughout the day. Bring on the Championship Cup!
