Christian Dance Group 2021 Performing Arts
Interschool Cross Country 2021
Thursday 29th July saw the St.Emilie’s Cross Country team take part in the 2021 Interschool event at Tomato Lake.
St.Emilie’s have historically performed extremely well in Cross Country events, and this year was no exception.
With a number of outstanding individual performances, but most importantly a really consistent team effort, St.Emilie’s won its Fourth Interschool event in a row!
Final standings
1) St Emilie’s – 330 points
2) Sacred Heart – 293 points
3) Notre Dame – 250 points
4) St Joseph’s – 218 points
5) Salvado – 208 points
6) St Munchin’s – 191 points
7) Xavier – 161 points
8) SMG – 150 points

As always, the effort and attitude shown by our students were second to none.
A huge thank you to all the parents who gave support and even held the tent down during wind and rain!
Our next Interschool event will be held at the beginning of Term 4, with the Year 6 Basketball tournament.
Congratulations to our Christian Dance Group!
Congratulations to the 19 Year Six students who represented St Emilie’s at this year’s Performing Arts Festival for 2021 in the Christian Dance section.
The girls received excellent feedback on their performance of, ‘Rise Up’ and we look forward to incorporating this beautiful performance into other school events before the end of the year.
Thank you to Mrs Chantelle Carruthers on all her hard work choreographing and teaching the girls the routine – and to the parents of these students, for your wonderful support.
The Arts are a wonderful and very special part of our school curriculum!
Inter-School Swimming Results
The 2021 Inter-School swimming carnival was held on Tuesday 23rd March at Aqualife Aquatic centre.
The St.Emilie’s swim team had been in training since the beginning of the term, with excellent numbers attending training sessions at Riverton Leisureplex.
We would like to say a big ‘Thank You” to all the parents that were able to get their children to and from the training sessions throughout this term.
We understand how difficult this can be, especially so early in the morning.
The carnival itself was a huge success for St.Emilie’s.
Previously our best finish was 3rd position from 5 schools.
On Tuesday we finished in 2nd Position, from 6 schools.
The attitude, effort and the way our students cheer and support each other during Inter-School events is second to none.
While it was a huge team effort to finish in second position, we had a number of students receive individual medals for the day.
Nalo was runner up champion boy in year 4, Olaf was champion boy in year 5 and Nathanael was runner up champion boy in Year 6.
We would also like to thank all the parents that attended to support us on the day.

2021 INTER-SCHOOL SWIMMING PROGRAM
Attached is the Inter-School swimming carnival order of events.
There are no specified times for each race.
We will be aiming to begin the carnival at 9:30am.
We hope to have presentations completed by 2:00pm
A reminder that the bus will be departing St.Emilie’s at 8:40am on Tuesday morning.
Parents are most welcome to attend and support our students.

Congratulations to our new State Champions!
Congratulations to our our Year 6 girls who recently competed in and won the Primary Schools State Basketball title – an outstanding achievement!
