On Friday afternoon, Pre-Primary students and staff spent time cleaning up our playground area.

We filled 5 bags full of rubbish and felt great taking care of our environment!

One student even found a $20 note and donated it to our class Project Compassion collection. 💙

Ash Wednesday in Pre-Primary

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated Ash Wednesday outside together in our glorious playground! We prayed to God and sang a song called, “Out of Ashes”. Ash Wednesday is a day when we say sorry to God and think about our lives. It is called Ash Wednesday because we are blessed with ashes on our heads. It is also the first day of Lent, which is a time to think about God and focus more on God instead of all the ‘stuff’ around us. Lent is the most important season in the Church year because it prepares us for Easter. Yesterday, we remembered that it is important to say sorry, especially to the people that we love.
