PP Blue Welcome back letter – Term 3
Remembering Phillip…
As you all know, we have all suffered a great loss with the passing of a most loved member of the PPB class, Phillip Lombardo. While our grief is great, we remember the way Phillip always had a laugh and a smile. He taught us that life is about family and friends, and that nothing is more precious than laughter and love, no matter what kind of day you have had. We celebrate the life lessons Phillip taught us by remembering him with great love.
This week as a class we shared our memories of Phillip by drawing pictures and making this card for the Lombardo family.

Phillip, we will always treasure our memories of you and the joy you brought to all our lives.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lombardo family and thank you to our beautiful families for the loving support you have given the family, one another and staff.
Observational Drawings
Using magnifying glasses, the students were able to closely observe natural materials such as plants, flowers and branches. From these observations they made some amazing drawings!
Fun with Apples and Ants
The children in Pre-Primary Blue have been learning all about numbers with help this week from apples and ants! We had a great time making apple prints and drawing ants, then counting and writing a sentence about each one. We were sure to remember full stops, capital letters and to count in order!
